Monday-Friday, all year
Read to/Play with A Young Child Day: Volunteers visit Our house from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. OR 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and spend time reading books to small groups of children or take time to play with the children on the playground.
Weekly, all year Donation Days: Every Wednesday, Our House receives donations from our supporters. Volunteers can assist by visiting on Thursdays to sort donations.
Monthly, all year
Host a Birthday Party: Volunteers can assist by hosting one of our monthly birthday parties. Simply call the office to schedule the date and find out what materials are needed. Bring your cake and supplies on the day of the event and party!!
Host a Theme Party: Our House celebrates diversity so we encourage volunteers to host monthly parties for our preschool that will encourage an understanding of multiculturalism.
Grounds Keeping Day: Volunteers visit Our House on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and help with the beautification of the grounds. During inclement weather volunteers can assist with indoor projects.
Organize Our House Days: The last Friday of every month is dedicated to organizing Our House. Volunteers assist teachers and staff in filing, faxing, typing or other tasks needed to keep business flowing smoothly.
